About Missoula, MT - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Missoula, Montana is an important cultural center for the state.  Though the state is known for being rural, and for its beautiful mountains and vistas, Missoula offers a wide array of cultural and educational opportunities.  The citizens are laidback, eclectic and interesting. You will find college students (since Missoula) is the location of the first state university in Montana), loggers and outdoorsy types, artists and even retirees.  The seasonal weather means that it can get warm in the spring and summer, but Montana is known for its snow, and there is no shortage of cooler temps in the winter.  This makes it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts interested in skiing, snowboarding or other snow sports.

Community events generally take place downtown. For example, in the heat of the summer, the towns holds the River City Roots Festival each and every August.  It attracts thousands of tourists and residents from all over the state, and the nation. There, you will find beer, song, crafts, fine art and much more.  It is the perfect event for families, but is also a lot of fun for the local college kids, who attend UM. Missoula Farmer’s Market is also open during the warmer months, on Tuesday evenings.  There, you will find the freshest and yummiest food that can be found for miles in each direction. In addition, Missoula puts on an event each first Friday of the month. It is aptly named "First Friday Missoula", a gallery walk through the many local galleries and shops in the town.

As for performing arts, the Missoula Community Theatre opened in 1977 and has held shows, dance shows, musicals, recitals and much more in the last few decades.  It is also associated Missoula Children's Theatre, and circuits around the nation each year.  It goes without saying that this is not just your typical local theatre program.  Don’t take our word for it. Head out one even and check out what the theatre has to offer. Taking in a play would be the ideal way to keep toasty and warm throughout those icier months.
